A STRONG field of professionals from both the Asian Tour and the LIV Golf League is set to compete at the 2025 International Series Morocco, scheduled to take place at the prestigious Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, from July 3-6. Among the contenders for top honours is defending champion Ben Campbell, who secured a play-off victory over John Catlin in last year’s event. Campbell holds Morocco in high regard, as his triumph there marked the beginning of a stellar season that included three top-five finishes towards the end of the campaign.

“Returning to Morocco is incredibly special. Last year’s win really changed the trajectory of my career. The course, the energy there, it all came together for something unforgettable. I’m excited to be back and ready to defend the title,” Campbell told the Asian Tour.

A two-time winner on The International Series, Campbell also clinched the Hong Kong Open in 2023. He finished third on the International Series Rankings last season and was runner-up on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, just behind Catlin. Also confirmed for the Morocco event are several notable names, including 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel of South Africa and American Peter Uihlein. Andy Ogletree of the United States will be in the field alongside Jazz Janewattananond of Thailand, who captured his seventh Asian Tour title at the inaugural International Series Morocco event in 2022. Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, emphasised Morocco’s importance as a host venue that not only stages world-class tournaments but also supports the development of emerging talent in the region. “Morocco has been a key destination for The International Series. We have witnessed two incredible tournaments there, played at a world-class venue, which offer real opportunities for the growth and development of the region’s top talent. “The players love going there, and excitement is already building ahead of this year’s event. With such a high-calibre field featuring stars from both the Asian Tour and LIV Golf, we’re expecting another unforgettable week of golf that showcases the global appeal and prestige of The International Series,” said Singh.

As the fourth of ten elevated events on the current Asian Tour schedule, Morocco plays a crucial role in the season-long race for International Series Rankings, which provide players with a pathway into the LIV Golf League.
