Sunshine Tour

THE Sunshine Tour is more than just a name or a tournament; it is a celebration of golf under the continent’s ever watchful eye in the sky, the sun, which rises with purpose and splendour. Each swing and putt is cast in the warm African sun. The Sunshine Tour dances under the African sun’s full glare, thriving where the heat tests skill and spirit.
As the 2025/26 season teed off at the picturesque Royal Harare Golf Club in the Zimbabwean capital on Thursday morning, Eric Wowor, from Indonesia, who earned his Tour card in the Betway Big Easy Tour in March is enjoying his time under the African sun. “I have tried many Tours in the States, it was expensive. The guys are good but it was just a lot. The Korn Ferry is expensive, typical financial restrictions. But, South Africa, in terms of the Sunshine Tour in terms of relative costs, it's miles cheaper but the players are just as elite as anywhere else in the world. That's one reason," said Wowor.
Wowor carded one-over-par-73 on his opening round on Thursday.
