That was enough to see him retain his place at the top of the leaderboard with 18 holes left to play. Van der Vyver moved up six places into second with an excellent six-under-par 66, a round that included four birdies, two eagles and two bogeys. In the girls’ division, Meegan Webster, who was part of a three-way tie for first after the opening round, claimed the outright lead following round two. After opening with an eight-over-par 80, Webster carded a six-over-par 78 on moving day. She sits at 14-over-par 158 overall, one shot ahead of Taylor Hope on 15-over-par 159, following rounds of 81 and 78.
