OLIVER Goldhill was crowned champion at the Betway Big Easy Tour Final following a play-off victory over Tristan Leonard and Daniel Cronje at Waterkloof Golf Club in Pretoria, South Africa on Thursday.

The trio finished tied on 17-under-par 199, forcing a play-off, where Goldhill came out on top to conclude the season on a high note.

Going into the final round in second place on 13-under-par 131, one shot behind Cronje, Goldhill closed with a near-flawless four-under-par 68, dropping just a single shot. On his front nine, he picked up one birdie at the seventh for a flawless outward 35. After the turn, Goldhill added birdies at the 14th, 15th and 16th, dropped a shot at the 17th, and recovered with another birdie at the 18th for an inward 33.
