In the second round, Bennett carded one-under-par 71 with three birdies and two bogeys. He picked up birdies on the fourth, 15th and 18th holes while dropping shots on number three and 17. He closed with another 71, carding four birdies and three boys. He picked up birdies on number three, six, 12 and 18 while bogeying three consecutive holes, number nine, 10 and 11, missing the top spot by just a single shot. The individual winner, Stevens, carded round scores of 70, 67 and 72.
