Snyman and Joubert finished tied on five-under-par 211 after 54 holes, forcing a play-off, which Snyman won on the second extra hole.

Starting the final round on five-under-par 139, Snyman signed for a level-par 72. He opened with a birdie at the first before enduring a difficult spell, dropping shots at the fifth, sixth and eighth to go out in 37.

He recovered on the back nine with birdies at the 12th and 14th for an inward 35, which proved enough to secure a play-off.

Joubert, meanwhile, produced a superb final round of five-under-par 67 after beginning the day on level-par 144, five shots behind the overnight leader, Snyman.

On the front nine, Joubert made back-to-back birdies at the third and fourth, added another at the sixth, dropped a shot at the seventh and responded with a birdie at the eighth to go out in 32.

He picked up further birdies at the 12th, 13th and 15th after the turn, with his only blemish on the back nine coming at the 14th for an inward 35.

Amateur Jonathan Wilsenach and Kian Coetzer shared third place on four-under-par 212, while Danie van Niekerk finished fifth on three-under-par 213.

Leon Visser claimed sixth place on two-under-par 214, with Werner Deyzel, Max Nicholls and Ethan Gough sharing seventh on one-under-par 215.
