On his front nine, he picked up birdies at the first, fifth, seventh and eighth, before dropping a shot at the ninth to turn in 33. On the back nine, he recorded a birdie at the 14th and a bogey at the 10th for an inward 35. Second-placed Wallace, who recently turned professional, opened with a 68 and followed it up with a bogey-free 66, which included three birdies and an eagle. He made birdies at the first, eighth and 12th, and an eagle at the 10th.
