Chikanyambidze was two strokes ahead of Keegan Shutt and Devon Valentine who both made seven-over-par-151. Shijie Li finished with a score of eight-over-par-152 while Tanaka Chatora made nine-over-par-153. Michael Wallace was one shot behind Chatora on 10-over-par-154 with Terrance Keith and Braydon Amm both carding 16-over-par-160 followed by Kelvin Muchenje on 18-over-par-162 and Tawana Mangoma and Nerudo Mregi on 21-over-par-165. It was a difficult outing for the amateurs. Meanwhile, Luis Carrera is enjoying a narrow one-shot lead at the top of the leaderboard. Carrera shot an impressive six-under-par-66 which took him to an overall 11-under-par-133 after 36 holes of golf. He is followed by MJ Viljoen on 10-under-par-134 while Hennie Otto – who was the overnight leader on round one – Martin Rohwer and Austin Bautista are tied for third place on seven-under-par-137. Rohwer had the best round on the day shooting a breath-taking seven-under-par-65 having shot level-par in the first round. His magical round was bogey-free, with seven birdies, four on the front nine and three on the back nine. Jean Hugo (-6) is in position six while Robson Chinhoi and Trevor Fisher Junior are tied for position seven on five-under-par-139 after round scores of 68 and 70 respectively. Completing the top leader-board after round two is a six-way tie for position nine between Ruan Conradie, Fredrik From, Warwick Purchase, Samuel Simpson, Simon du Plooy, and Doug McGuigan who are all on four-under-par-140.
