Kedochim, who is now on 14-under-par 130, holds a slender one-shot lead over Wynand Dingle with 18 holes left to play in the tournament.

Having opened with a flawless seven-under-par 65 on Thursday, Kedochim followed it up with another 65 in the second round, dropping just a single shot.

He went into the round one shot behind overnight leader Luke Brown and produced a flawless outward nine. Kedochim picked up three consecutive birdies at the third, fourth and fifth holes for an outward nine of 33.

On his inward nine, he birdied the 10th, dropped a shot at the 11th and recovered with another birdie at the 12th. He added further birdies at the 14th, 15th and 17th for an inward nine of 32.

Second-placed Dingle shot a brilliant 63, recording eagles at the 12th and 17th and birdies at the first, fifth, sixth, eighth, 14th and 15th. He dropped just a single shot at the third and is now on 13-under-par 131.

Charl Barnard and Austin Bautista share third place on 12-under-par 132.
