Having opened with a level-par 72 in the first round on Wednesday, Olapade produced a flawless front nine in the second round, making two eagles at the first and second holes, followed by a birdie at the eighth, for an outward 32.

After the turn, he added two more birdies at the 11th and 13th holes before dropping shots at the 14th and 16th for an inward 35.

Ugandan professional Rugumayo, who held the opening-round lead with a 69, carded a 70 in the second round. His round comprised four birdies, an eagle and two double bogeys.
