Chinhoi, in second place, made significant gains in the second round with a brilliant bogey-free nine-under-par 63. The Zimbabwean birdied the first, followed it up with an eagle at the fourth and another birdie at the seventh for an outward 32. On the back nine, Chinhoi added another birdie at the 10th, followed by an eagle at the 13th and further birdies at the 15th and 17th for an inward 31.
