A final-round level-par 72 was enough for Romano Saincic to secure a one-shot victory over amateur Minjun Heo at the Blu Label Unlimited Series 3 held at Modderfontein Golf Club in South Africa on Wednesday.

Saincic finished the tournament on six-under-par 210 to enter the winners’ circle.

Having started the final round as part of a three-way tie for the lead, Saincic carded five birdies, two double bogeys and a bogey during a roller-coaster round. On the front nine, he birdied the second hole before suffering a double bogey at the seventh. He responded with another birdie at the eighth to make the turn in level-par 36. After the turn, Saincic birdied the 10th, double-bogeyed the 12th, added another birdie at the 13th and dropped a shot at the 14th. He bounced back with a birdie at the 15th and completed the inward nine in level-par 36, which proved enough to seal victory. Heo, who began the day three shots off the pace, mounted a strong challenge with a closing two-under-par 70. His round featured six birdies and four bogeys, but he ultimately finished one stroke short of the title. LB Boshoff, who also shared the lead heading into the final round, slipped to third place on four-under-par 212 after carding a final-round 74.

Thomas Spreadborough and amateur Luke Truter shared fourth place on two-under-par 214.
