On his back nine, he made a run of three consecutive birdies at holes 11, 12 and 13 before dropping a shot at the 16th for an inward 34. Boshoff, who opened with a 70 on Monday, carded a 68 on moving day, dropping just a single shot. On the front nine, Boshoff made a birdie at the first hole before dropping a shot at the seventh and recovering with another birdie at the eighth for an outward 35. He then had a flawless back nine, with a birdie at the 12th and an eagle at the 13th for an inward 33. Truter, on the other hand, went into the second round with a three-shot lead at the top of the leaderboard after opening with a 65. He then carded a 73 on Tuesday. On his front nine, Truter made three birdies at the first, fourth and ninth holes, while also recording a bogey at the sixth and a double bogey at the third for an outward 36. After the turn, he made a birdie at the 10th, followed by a bogey at the 11th and two more birdies at the 12th and 13th. He, however, made a double bogey at the 15th and another bogey at the 16th for an inward 37.
