He made a strong start to his round, carding birdies at the first, third and fifth holes, with his only blemish on the front nine coming at the fourth, as he turned in two-under-par 34. On the back nine, Kibugu added further birdies at the 11th, 13th, 15th and 18th, while bogeys at the 14th and 17th saw him come home in two-under-par 33. Snow and Mediratta, who returned rounds of 69 and 70 respectively on moving day, share second place on three-under-par 139. Celestin Nsanzuwera, Michael Karanga, Taimur Malik, David Wakhu and Obura are tied for fourth on two-under-par 140.
